    2 1/1 Scotland’s private sector economic output fell sharply last month and at the fastest pace since November 2022, with this performance the second-worst among the 12 UK nations and regions, a key survey published today reveals. However, Scotland’s “fractional” fall in private sector employment in March put it top of the table on that measure, with the other 11 UK nations and regions experiencing sharper declines in staffing.
