PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Plan on a warmer day for today in Phoenix with dry conditions. Highs are going to climb closer to 100 degrees for your Thursday. Even with the warmer temperatures, our highs will stay one degree below normal for this time of year. We remain dry in Phoenix today with sunny skies, but we hold onto a few thunderstorms, mainly in the northern mountains. The trend statewide will be to dry things out and to warm things up as high pressure starts to build in.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Plan on a warm day ahead in Phoenix for Memorial Day, with highs just above 100 degrees. We will get to 101 degrees later this afternoon in sunny conditions. A slow warm-up is on the way by the end of the week, with highs climbing to around 106 on Friday. The average high for this time of year is 98, so we will be running a bit hot but not likely to break any records in Phoenix. We will see some occasional mountain breezes, but no major wind events are coming to the mountains.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It was a beautiful spring day when we met 15-year-old Cornell in downtown Phoenix at the Painters Lounge. There he got a one-on-one class with Dina Murphy, teacher and owner. Cornell is friendly and enjoys all sorts of hobbies from sports to anime to just hanging with friends. “I’m a big dog person,” he said. “I love dogs.”He does well in school and said the subject he likes the most surrounds the world we live in.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The wind returns for Saturday in Arizona. Red Flag Warnings are up in central and eastern Arizona for high fire danger. The strongest winds will be in eastern Arizona with gusts around 45 mph. Plan on a breezy day in Phoenix with gusts around 20-25 mph.
