Tuesday, 15 April 2025, 11:13This is a breakdown after breakdown at the Cercanías commuter train station at Malaga Airport which is on the C1 line between the city and Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol. All four escalators have been closed for weeks, leaving passengers with the only option of using the overcrowded lifts to transfer their luggage to the platforms on the lower level. The station's facilities are of great necessity, given the volume of people passing every day.

Tuesday, 15 April 2025, 09:50Holy Week is now in full swing in Malaga province and the rest of Spain, despite the expectedly unstable weather at the start of April's second fortnight. However, the skies cleared on Palm Sunday and Holy Monday, allowing the complete schedule of processions to take place. The forecast for the rest of the week is mixed, but mostly favourable. Tal y como se esperaba, la segunda quincena de abril ha comenzado con tiempo inestable, sobre todo el Sábado de Pasión; si bien los cielos han dado una tregua después y han permitido un pleno de procesiones en la calle el Domingo de Ramos y el Lunes Santo. Este es el pronóstico del Centro Meteorológico de Aemet para los días que quedan por delante.
