ENDOLUNG was an open-label phase 1/2 study of the combination of ABTL0812 plus CP in advanced or recurrent EC patients (the phase 1 also included patients with sq-NSCLC). Patients were recruited in 9 academic institutions, located in Spain and France, from November 2016 to February 2020. This study was registered with EudraCT number 2016-001352-21 and at ClinicalTrials.gov with identifier NCT03366480. During the phase 1, patients were recruited only in 6 academic institutions from Spain.

The analysis focused on population-based data regarding invasive PCa included in the GCR during the period 1994–2018. The GCR is a population-based registry that has collected information on all cancer cases in the province of Girona, northeastern Catalonia, since 1994. It covers a population of 392,976 men (2021) and an area of 5,910 km2.

Of a total of 577,343 study participants (UKB n = 344,094; EPIC n = 233,249), 53% and 62% were women in the UKB and EPIC cohorts, respectively. Baseline characteristics of the two study populations are reported, respectively, in Tables 1 and 2. In both cohorts, study participants with obesity (BMI ≥ 30 kg/m2) tended to have a lower educational level and were less physically active as compared to the other study participants.
