Nucleic acid-based therapies are being rapidly developed for prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Remarkable advancements have been achieved in the delivery, safety, and effectiveness of these therapeutics in the past decade. These therapies can also modulate therapeutic targets that cannot be sufficiently addressed using traditional drugs or antibodies.

OverviewPatients who undergo anterior vaginal wall plastic surgery and place the bladder catheter during surgery are selected. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the presence of statistically significant differences in bladder catheter repositioning within 12 hours after bladder catheter removal in the group of patients in whom the bladder catheter is removed on postoperative day I or II.

OverviewAt enrollment, after informed consent form will be discussed and signed, subjects will undergo complete disease assessment. In this study, 150 adult subjects with IBD will be enrolled at the Gastroenterology Department of the San Raffaele Hospital (50 patients with Crohn's disease, 50 with Ulcerative colitis not undergoing proctocolectomy, and 50 with Ulcerative colitis undergoing proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis).

OverviewBrugada Syndrome (BS) is an inherited heart condition that can cause sudden cardiac arrest in young individuals. It's diagnosed through specific changes seen on an electrocardiogram (ECG). Currently, the only treatment option is a cardioverter defibrillator (ICD). Despite advances, much about BS remains unclear, including its genetic basis. This study aims to use advanced genetic sequencing and artificial intelligence to uncover new genetic factors contributing to BS.
