Chesapeake police respond to report of shooting, one man sent to hospital

Chesapeake Police responded to a residence in the 2300 block of Angler Ln. on Sunday at about 2:13 p.m. in regard to a man being shot, according to a release. Responding officers found an adult male that had been shot. He was transported to a hospital with life threatening injuries. The shoot was has been detained. This is an active investigation.

The Israeli army said it targeted a command and control center used by Hamas located inside Al Ahli Hospital in northern Gaza, a day after establishing a new corridor dividing Rafah from the rest of the Gaza Strip and expanding its military offensive.
