FARGO — The North Dakota Department of Transportation says high temperatures have the potential to impact travelers, with the potential of roads buckling. A stretch of road on Interstate 29 southbound, north of Brookings, S.D., on Thursday, June 19, saw its pavement buckle, creating an unexpected bump in the road. Crews were able to patch up the road, but traffic was slowed in the area.

MOORHEAD — The Rourke Art Gallery and Museum hosted a preview of its 66th annual “Midwestern” exhibit on Wednesday night, June 18, ahead of its public opening.
