It has come to my attention that two short canines have overrun my domain. Pointy ears stand erect to let me know every sound I make is being tracked. Every move I make, I am being followed. The favorite location seems to be the kitchen, with the toilet coming in a close second. Favorite items from these places include toilet paper and any type of food item available aside from lettuce. What do they want from me? Am I adored for my unique and wonderful qualities, or am I being used? I don’t know.

You know what Broadway needs more of? Bars. Just kidding. We’d never say that. But Pete’s, which first opened in Texas back in 1992, comes with two baby grand pianos going head to head in The Big Bang’s old spot. The 10,000-square-foot venue also has a big video wall behind the pianos, a VIP area, and three bars serving 52-ounce schooners full of booze. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists.

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have lent their likenesses to a new lounge in the catacombs of the four-level historic building that houses Nashville Live! The eponymous gin will be featured in most of the cocktails while DJs encourage a bit of rump shaking to a mix of hip-hop, R&B, and funk throughout the night. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists.

Sean Brock’s at it again, this time with a small 30-seat Riverside Village spot dedicated to the pizza he and his team ate in Tokyo. The neo-Neapolitan pies are made with a signature long-fermented dough developed over several years that’s apparently easier to digest. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists.

Following in the footsteps of its older sibling Superica, Little Rey comes to the West End with fast-casual Northern Mexican food and a specific focus on chicken al carbon. Expect that chicken served whole and bone-in, migas breakfast tacos, rotating flavors of soft-serve, margaritas, and agua frescas. We hear the pancakes served with buttermilk syrup on the weekends are quite popular in its other locations. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists.
