(FOX40.COM) — A woman was injured in a fire in a portable toilet in Sacramento early Thursday morning, the Sacramento Fire Department said. According to the fire department, around 3:15 a.m. crews responded to a report of a fire on T Street at a home that is under renovation. The fire department said a portable toilet next to the home caught fire with someone inside. While crews were battling the fire, they heard a woman shouting for help.

(FOX40.COM) — One teenager is dead and another is in critical condition following a shooting in Stockton on Wednesday night, the Stockton Police Department said. According to police, around 10:16 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting near San Joaquin Street and Lafayette Street. Officers found two 17-year-old male victims who had been shot. The victims were taken to the hospital where one died from his injuries. Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
