    STOCKTON, Calif. — An 18-year-old woman was shot by a man she was riding with in a car in Stockton, according to the Stockton Police Department. Police said the shooting happened near the intersection of West Lane and Hammertown Drive in the city’s Valley Oak District around 8:39 p.m. Friday. Police said the two were in a car when the man pulled out a gun and shot the woman. The man then got out of the car and ran away.
