Court documents revealed both sides agreed to a dismissal filed April 1. It's unclear if the lawsuit was settled out of court.

The sun will be shining today with high temperatures behind cloudy skies, but by Friday evening, scattered thunderstorms are possible across the state, going into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Indianapolis. The timeframe for the most severe storms will be from 1 to 9 a.m. Saturday morning, with a slight risk of damaging winds and large hail as the primary threat. (This article will update)A west Indianapolis bus stop became a crime scene Thursday afternoon when a man was fatally shot. The shooting happened about 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of West Morris and Hiatt streets. Arriving Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers found the man near an IndyGo bus stop, and he was taken to a hospital in critical condition before later being pronounced dead.

Meteorologists are keeping a close eye on a storm that could bring large hail, flooding and damaging winds to Indiana later this week. Scattered severe storms are possible overnight Friday, starting around 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Indianapolis. The storms follow a cold front moving southeastward that prompted a frost advisory early Wednesday.
