We have scattered showers and continuing today as our upper-level low pressure system stalls and then cuts off from the main flow, causing it to linger over the region. Lots of clouds and cooler temperatures, afternoon highs only in the low 60s. Showers and a few weak thunderstorms will actually increase this afternoon and evening, persisting into tonight, especially from St. Louis and points east. Showers gradually shift east, leaving us with a drier Sunday.
