Cooper Alan has no time for your country music purity tests. Heck, this guy is so busy he doesn’t have much time for anything. Country music carries with it the burden of expectations. Don’t sound too traditional, or doing anything original. But don’t try too many new things, or you’re straying too far from the roots. Honor the past but look to the present. Movies and TV are now big businesses here, and a bill in front of the Montana House of Representatives is seeking to make it an even bigger one.
