BILLINGS — It’s safe to say Sy Pizzolato is a pretty good lip reader. But that doesn’t mean he spends school days eavesdropping from across the classroom. “I think the main thing is, I would probably be either bored by their conversation, or I’d be probably listening to the teacher instead of listening to whatever,” he deadpanned before a recent practice.

BILLINGS — So many roads lead back to Butte, Montana, including the highways traveled by Pat Ogrin. As one of six siblings, he made a name for himself on the football field, earning the title of defensive tackle of the century from Butte High in 1999. He was born and raised in Butte but lived in Cut Bank for a short time. Ogrin earned a full-ride scholarship to the University of Wyoming, where his Cowboys played in the Fiesta Bowl during his freshman year.

BILLINGS — In an exciting season opener on Tuesday night, the Billings Mustangs kicked off their campaign with a solid 6-3 victory over the Missoula PaddleHeads. The Mustangs took control early, scoring the first run in the second inning when Evan Blum delivered a sacrifice fly to plate Briley Knight who moments earlier had stolen third base.

BILLINGS — Jacob Kline isn’t afraid to have fun. Last season Kline fit right in with a new 'cowboy up' home run celebration teammates had just implemented. “Obviously, it’s when you hit a home run; that’s obviously fun as it is. But when you come back in, you get the cowboy hat put on you, and then you get the (stick) horse, you get mounted on, you start riding and everything … it’s a lot of fun,” Kline told MTN Sports Monday with a smile.

BILLINGS — Ray Biggs' journey in football began on a humble farm near Walla Walla, Wash. His introduction to the sport came in the seventh grade, where he quickly learned invaluable lessons about teamwork, friendship, competitiveness and dedication. As he progressed through his football career, Biggs was shaped by excellent coaches and mentors who instilled a strong work ethic and a lifelong passion for the game.
