LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — A Lincoln man turned himself in more than a week after a 7-week-old was taken to a local hospital with multiple fractures. On Monday, 26-year-old Kaprees King was booked into the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of first-degree child abuse. King is one of two people under investigation by the Lincoln Police Department. The investigation stems from a phone call made to police by staff at Bryan East on May 3.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man charged in the sexual assault of two children has taken a plea deal. Auston Dormer, 30, pled guilty to first-degree sexual assault and third-degree sexual assault of a child. He could face up to 50 years in prison for count one and up to three years for count two. Dormer was previously charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child but it was amended as part of the plea deal.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man convicted of tossing a tennis ball stuffed with drugs over the fence at the Reception and Treatment Center (RTC) was sentenced on Wednesday. A Lancaster County District Judge sentenced 35-year-old Cash Ryba to 10 to 20 years in prison for one count of distributing a controlled substance. He was given credit for two days served. Ryba was initially charged with two counts of distributing a controlled substance, but one was dismissed as part of a plea deal.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN/Gray News) – A woman in Nebraska was arrested Sunday evening after being accused of driving drunk to a strip club with her 1-year-old child in the backseat, according to police. Officers were called to The Office Gentlemen’s Club around 11 p.m. after a bouncer reported the 26-year-old woman had arrived heavily intoxicated. The bouncer asked for her ID, but she handed over her car keys instead. After being denied entry, she returned to her car to retrieve her ID.
