No matter what the future holds for Boston City League hockey, Latin Academy is savoring the present. The Dragons and East Boston, winless this season, are the only schools in the Boston City League to still field boys’ hockey teams. But the teams did not face one another, skating essentially as independents. BLA featured no sub-varsity team for the first time, with just 17 skaters and a single goaltender on the varsity roster.
