KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - The Killeen Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the grand reopening of Church’s Chicken off Stan Schlueter Loop on Friday. On Saturday, the restaurant hosted a block party from 1 to 4 p.m. to welcome customers back. The event featured face painting, a bounce house, a prize wheel and free kids meals. AQUILLA, Texas (KWTX) – Last night a storm that included high winds went through Aquilla, causing a tree to go through the roof of resident Helen Northrup’s home. The tree was pushed through Northrup’s bathroom, causing significant damage to the roof. No injuries were reported. The family is asking for the community’s help.
