(KNUE-FM) If I were to ask you what city or town in Texas should be considered the 'Celebration Capital of Texas,' which would come to mind? Austin? Dallas? Houston? Nope. While those are great cities in which there is much to celebrate and enjoy, Granbury, Texas, has been designated as the 'Celebration Capital of Texas.'Oh, I love this little city. I have friends who have lived there, and I have always enjoyed going to see them.

(KNUE-FM) A 71-year-old Texas woman was simply seeking to clean out her sinuses. Days later, she was gone. A story from FOX 4 reports that the woman had been staying at a private campground and decided to rinse her sinuses with tap water, according to the CDC and other Texas health officials. Although an unusual occurrence, the woman was tragically exposed to Naegleria fowleri, a rare brain-eating amoeba. Just days later, she began showing symptoms of infection.

(KNUE-FM) Have I ever told you how much I love floating down lazy rivers at our Texas waterparks? It's not yet summer, but I'm ready to pre-plan trips in my mind. Is it because I'm lazy? Well, sometimes.

(KNUE-FM) Like me, you may struggle to keep up with all the headlines these days. There's quite a bit happening in Texas and in the nation, generally speaking. Yes, that is an understatement. It seems it was only yesterday we heard about the bills passed in the prior legislative session. Issues included in the last session were border enforcement, DEI bans at public colleges and universities, book bans, and the trans youth healthcare ban.
