In 2019, Capcom brought Onimusha back with their strong remaster of Onimusha: Warlords. It felt like the series was finally back, receiving the attention it so justly deserved amongst other Capcom greats like Monster Hunter, Street Fighter and Resident Evil. Despite this, the series remained dormant. Five years later, Capcom is ready to give Onimusha another go. While a brand-new game is out next year, the second game, Samurai’s Destiny, is getting the remaster treatment too.

Nintendo announced HEAPS about the new Nintendo Switch 2 this evening, including the fact that the Nintendo Switch 2 will ship with 256gb of onboard memory. But you’ll also be able to expand the Nintendo Switch 2 with microSD cards if you require more space. Given that the game will be able to run at 4K already, you’ll probably need it too. The only catch? The current microSD cards that you use with your Nintendo Switch will not be compatible with Nintendo Switch 2.

It’s finally here! It’s hard to believe that after the initial reveal, that we’re sitting here about to watch the proper Nintendo Direct dedicated to all things Nintendo Switch 2. Given that last week’s Direct focusing on the Nintendo Switch was…..interesting….it was exciting to see whether or not Nintendo would continue that trend this week.

While the lead-up was short, the presentation was long. Perhaps not. I wouldn’t know yet as I’m writing this before the Direct has even begun. But yes, the rumours were true. Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct tonight that showed off all kinds of games for the original Nintendo Switch. Could it be the last Nintendo Switch-focused direct? We’re not sure.

Nintendo have, as previously predicted by reliable sources, confirmed the exact timing for a Nintendo Direct this week. It’s focusing on games on the original Nintendo Switch, so no announcements about the Nintendo Switch 2 will be announced at this presentation. The Nintendo Direct for the Nintendo Switch 2 will take place on Friday, March 28th (Melbourne/Sydney) or Thursday, March 27th (rest of Australia).

It’s always great to see a developer spread their wings. Rebellion, who’ve been making video games for almost three decades, had found their groove with the Sniper Elite games. They’ve branched out with other games, like Zombie Army Trilogy and the more unexpected Strange Brigade. But Atomfall is a brave new step for Rebellion, taking everything they’ve learnt from those games and upping the ambition to 11.

Perhaps this is controversial, but you know what you’re getting into with Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. Following on from the stellar remasters that Aspyr put out just twelve months ago of the original trilogy, this new remaster collection is similar. But Aspyr has done a few extra little things to help these games make the jump to the latest generation of consoles.

When Ruiner was released almost eight years ago, I instantly loved its gritty, edgy cyberpunk aesthetic. It took me some solid practice, but I eventually emerged victorious from my fictitious jaunt into Rengkok. But while Ruiner was a solid entry in the much-saturated twin-stick shooter genre, I’d have never imagined where developer Reikon Games would take things next.

PlayStation has confirmed that Metal Gear Sold Delta: Snake Eater will release on August 28th along with the Snake vs Monkey mode. ORIGINAL STORY: Finally putting many sources of rumour and speculation to rest, Konami has (accidently) revealed the release date for their upcoming remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 through the PlayStation app. Titled Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the game is a full remake of Metal Gear Solid 3.
