The tank where the dolphins were held has been called "Latin America's smallest dolphin tank" by animal organisations who have called for a boycott of the Barcelo Riviera Maya. TIKTOK has shut down in the US for 170 million users as the federal ban came into force. App users who tried logging on were simply met with a message telling them they could no longer use the video-sharing platform. The ban has been enforced over security fears regarding the app due to its ownership by Chinese firm ByteDance. But the app has been given hope after President-elect Donald Trump said he would "most likely" give TikTok a 90-day reprieve.

A DINOSAUR species has been discovered after scientists discovered photos of fossils that were blown up during World War 2. Experts have called it an "exceptional" case, as the new beast becomes one one of the largest known land carnivores to ever roam the planet. The newly named species, Tameryraptor markgrafi, or "thief from the beloved land", was 33ft long and walked in the sands of Egypt 95 million years ago.

KROGER has been attacked online by a customer for their lack of self checkouts open. The disgruntled shopper took to X to share their frustration after being unable to access the store's many machines. The post read: "Kroger’s current business model of purposely leaving all but two registers closed and entire banks of self checkout shut off really sucks.
