    At around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, members of the Vermont State Police were notified of a missing woman in Rutland County. Police say 79-year-old Julia Peterson of Pittsfield left her residence Saturday around 8:30 p.m. in a black 2011 Toyota Rav4 bearing Vermont registration "GCE306."She was last seen at around 1 a.m. Sunday at the Stewart's Shop on Woodstock Avenue in Rutland City. She later left, heading eastbound on Woodstock Avenue.

The district is currently working on plans to remove the presence of PCB’s in parts of the building. No students are being taught in those impacted areas.
