League City is close to formalizing a new master plan for its undeveloped west side as City Council at its May 27 meeting will consider the second and final vote needed to make it official. Manvel is eying its first ever fall festival this year and took steps at a May 19 City Council meeting to make it a reality. City Council unanimously approved allowing city staff to move forward with Houston-based Your Neighborhood Farmers Market Association, or YNFMA, to begin formalizing contracts and aspects for a festival in October.
