    The driver of a car that crashed into a tree in north-west New South Wales, killing his three back seat passengers, has been spared jail time. Two women and a man died at the scene on the Kamilaroi Highway near Curlewis, 20 kilometres south of Gunnedah, on December 20 last year. Lius Chandra, who is an Indonesian citizen, and his front seat passenger survived the crash.

    New South Wales Police are seeking dashcam footage after a cyclist was killed and three others were injured on the outskirts of Armidale in the state's Northern Tablelands. About 3:30pm on Saturday a car ploughed into a group of cyclists participating in a race, before it hit a tree and caught fire. Police say the cyclist who died was a man aged in his 60s. He is yet to be formally identified. The three injured cyclists were treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital.
