The family of a woman killed and dismembered while on a first date files a civil suit against the two bars prosecutors say she went to before her death. The lawsuit, filed in Milwaukee County Wednesday, states Twisted Fisherman and Duke's on Water served 19-year-old Sade Robinson underage and did not ask for her ID. Surveillance photos shared in previous criminal court records show Robinson and the man accused of killing her, Maxwell Anderson, at Twisted Fisherman.

A former public defender turned defendant is now in limbo over who will preside over his case. Prosecutors charged Travis Schwantes in November with four felonies and two misdemeanors, which include soliciting and patronizing prostitutes and misconduct in public office. Prosecutors also charged five others with misdemeanors, including a retired judge and a now-resigned Milwaukee firefighter.

A constant pursuit of happiness takes dedication, and for Bob Koehler, that dedication means going to every Milwaukee Brewers home game for 44 years. "The last game I missed was the 29th of August, 1981," he said with a smile sitting at his kitchen table on Opening Day. Koehler doesn't count the exact number, but quick math minus some weather cancellations before the stadium had a roof, mix in a COVID-19 season, and the number is somewhere north of 3,400 consecutive home games.
