CANTON, Ohio – In a battle of two quarterbacks who were finalists for Ohio Mr. Football, Olentangy Liberty senior Andrew Leonard left Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium with a state championship. With Leonard playing an MVP game under center, and Liberty’s defense pressuring newly crowned 2024 Mr. Football Matt Ponatoski and Moeller’s explosive offense into mistakes all night, Liberty came away with a 28-14 win in the OHSAA Division I state football championship Friday night.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – After Summit Country Day won a girls soccer state championship Friday, the players on that team watched their classmates on the boys soccer team join them atop the medal stand Monday night. After the SCD boys soccer team secured the first Division V state championship in Ohio High School Athletic Association history, they joined their friends on the girls soccer team, as well as all or most of the student body, in celebration.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The offensive numbers for the Indian Hill boys soccer team get a lot of attention. For only the second time all season, the Braves only scored one goal Sunday afternoon, but the defense made it stand for a 1-0 win over Twinsburg in the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division III boys soccer state championship game at Historic Crew Stadium. Indian Hill won its first state title in team history, finishing undefeated with 23 wins and two draws.
