Daniel New (Image: Merseyside Police) A PROLIFIC shoplifter is back behind bars after breaching the conditions of a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). Daniel New, 34, of Westbourne Road in Birkenhead, was given a CBO on December 19 2023. The order is in place for three years and meant New was banned from entering Birkenhead town centre and banned him from associating with certain individuals, behaving in an anti-social manner and remaining in any shop when asked to leave.

Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court (Image: Newsquest) A MAN has admitted stealing items from shops in Birkenhead. Oliver Parkinson, 44, appeared at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court on Saturday, April 5 where he pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop. Parkinson, whose address was given as the YMCA, Whetstone Lane, Tranmere, stole items worth £34.93 from the Birkenhead branch of Home Bargains on Monday, March 3 2025.

Goals from Cameron Norman, Regan Hendry, Josh Davison and Sam Finley did the damage as Rovers put some daylight between themselves and the League Two relegation places.

"We were about to start a weekend's recording down in south Wales," said Ian. "He'd already chosen the two we were going to record and I said 'well, there's this other one. I think it's OK and the words are quite good but I'm not sure about it'.

Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court (Image: Newsquest) A WIRRAL man has admitted stealing Lego from a shop in Birkenhead. Appearing at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court, Joshua McClennan, 30, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft from a shop after he took Lego worth £60 from Game on St John's Square, Birkenhead on Friday, December 27 2024. McClennan, of Manor Road, Liscard, was fined £40 and ordered to pay £60 compensation to Game. No order was made for costs.
