Sunlight In The Shadows comes out on October 17 on Easy Eye Sound with Miles also announcing a new single Love Is Cruel taken from the forthcoming album. Miles, from Meols, is best known as a solo artist and the co-frontman of the Last Shadow Puppets alongside Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner.

A report was received just before 4pm that two males were attempting to break into a vehicle at a car park on Lambert Street. When officers arrived, they made off on foot but were detained after a short foot chase. The officers searched the males and seized screwdrivers, car keys and mobile phones as well as a quantity of white powder.
