A spokesperson for Tranmere said: "Tranmere Rovers Football Club can confirm that Regan Hendry will be leaving the Club to pursue opportunities elsewhere. "We would like to thank Regan for his commitment and contributions over the past two and a half years. "Everyone at Tranmere Rovers wishes him the very best for the future." Hendry, 27, joined Tranmere Rovers, initially on loan in January 2023, before signing permanently in the summer transfer window of the same year.

Pareidolls (Image: John Howard) A TEENAGE band from Wirral will support a group of punk legends on their forthcoming UK tour. Pareidolls, who include five girls studying for their A Levels, will join XGENERATIONX - a band led by original Generation X drummer Mark Laff and featuring Steve Norman from Spandau Ballet as well as Elizabeth Westwood from Westworld on vocals - on dates at Birkenhead's Future Yard and London's legendary 100 Club.

Stevenson, a two-time first division championship winner with Liverpool FC under Bill Shankly, joined Tranmere in 1973 and played 27 times for the Prenton Park outfit. The Scot made 241 appearances for Liverpool in the 1960s after signing from Rangers – where he also won the league and Scottish Cup – and was a member of the team which won the club’s first FA Cup in 1965.
