All of it serves a special purpose of preserving some of Utah’s history. “Weber and Davis County. OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — Construction crews in Ogden are hard at work getting the new Marshall White Community Center completed before the grand opening celebration. For LaToya Peoples of Baltimore, Maryland, this is both crunch time and prime time. As a Commissioned Muralist, Peoples is putting in at least 10 hours a day, tackling a massive project for the new center. The task is painting four murals that are eight feet wide by 26 feet tall.

OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — After years of planning, drafting images, and reworking concepts and ideas, the completion of the new Marshall White Community Center is on the horizon. For any bystander watching, it’s clear this will mark a new era for the community. Crews are putting finishing touches on and around the new center. Damon Lamar Reed, a Chicago-based muralist, has worked for months planning with Ogden City arts administrators on his project that will be featured at the center.

DAYBREAK, Utah (KUTV) — Many people in Daybreak kept up with the rapidly moving construction of The Ballpark at America First Square, the new Salt Lake Bees baseball stadium. The grass or “turf,” as it's often called, was grown in and shipped from Washington state. Brian Soukup, Director of Field Operations at the new stadium, explained that it’s the kind of turf that many professional sports fields use.
