OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — Construction crews in Ogden are hard at work getting the new Marshall White Community Center completed before the grand opening celebration. For LaToya Peoples of Baltimore, Maryland, this is both crunch time and prime time. As a Commissioned Muralist, Peoples is putting in at least 10 hours a day, tackling a massive project for the new center. The task is painting four murals that are eight feet wide by 26 feet tall.

The grass or “turf,” as it's often called, was grown in and shipped from Washington state.
