Meriden Girl Scout to host event to introduce others to the Gold Award MERIDEN - Gabi Bourdon, a Meriden Girl Scout, has completed the Girl Scout Gold Award for her work at the Meriden Public Library. She will be hosting an event for Meriden Girl Scouts to introduce them to the Gold Award. She will do a short presentation, introduce them to her project, and then girls will create vision boards for their future projects.

NORTH HAVEN - The drive-thru 7 Brew Coffee franchise plans to open at 117 Washington Ave. in North Haven and 116 Boston Post Road in Orange in August. The Orange location has already been approved by planning and zoning, and the North Haven location is awaiting approval. A Vernon location was approved for the Tri-City Plaza, at 35 Talcotville Rd., and was originally scheduled to open on April 14, but will open on April 28 instead.
