Former Saints tackle Terron Armstead announced his retirement from the National Football League in front of his teammates at a party in Miami. LAKE CHARLES (WGNO) – Two dynasties with 14 combined state championships hit the hardwood Saturday afternoon. St. Augustine and St. Thomas More entered the Division I Select State Championship each with seven state titles, but the battle for an eighth ring became a roller coaster affair. The first quarter was evenly matched. The Purple Knights and Cougars were tied at 8-8, but the second quarter was where the chaos began. St. Thomas More outscored St. Aug 9-1, and went into halftime up 17-9.
