No. 5 Snappy Ride (9-2) has been a popular commodity at the claim box, and her new trainer Michael Catalano Jr. is strong with new additions to his barn. The mare reconnects with her winning rider Mychel Sánchez, who has been on a roll recently.

Monday’s ninth race at Parx is an allowance event for Pennsylvania-bred fillies and mares dashing six furlongs on the main track. The scheduled post time is 4:20 p.m. EDT. Click here for Parx Racing entries and results. No. 5 Dewey Doit (7-2) battled on the pace and settled for the place in her last two dirt sprints. The sharp sophomore filly likes this oval and should be in the hunt from the outset.

Sunday’s ninth race at Gulfstream Park is an optional-claiming event for Florida-bred 4-year-olds and up dashing seven furlongs on the main track. The scheduled post time is 5:21 p.m. EDT. Click here for Gulfstream Park entries and results. No. 9 Classify (3-1) was the beaten favorite at seven panels on Jan. 28. He was in good form before that and has been freshened for this engagement. Look for an outside stalking trip under his new rider Paco Lopez.

Saturday’s ninth race at Oaklawn is the Grade 3 Oaklawn Mile for 4-year-olds and up traveling one mile on the main track. The scheduled post time is 5:32 p.m. EDT. Click here for Oaklawn entries and results. No. 4 Midnight Rising (7-2) exits back-to-back local route wins against lesser company, and his numbers jumped up in those races. The switch to dirt definitely agreed with him, and he figures to stalk the pace under his winning rider Emmanuel Esquivel.

Friday’s ninth race at Oaklawn is the $200,000 Temperence Hill Stakes for 4-year-olds and up traveling 1 1/2 miles on the main track. The scheduled post time is 5:55 p.m. EDT. Click here for Oaklawn entries and results. No. 13 Red Run (4-1) is out of the graded ranks and back on dirt for Mike Maker. He missed by a neck in the Isaac Murphy at this distance on dirt at Churchill in May and was a solid third in the Grade 2 Brooklyn at 1 1/2 miles. He probably will stalk the pace from the outside post.
