    AbstractTolerance to dietary antigens is critical for avoiding deleterious type 2 immune responses resulting in food allergy (FA) and anaphylaxis1,2. However, the mechanisms resulting in both the maintenance and failure of tolerance to food antigens are poorly understood. Here we demonstrate that the goblet-cell-derived resistin-like molecule β (RELMβ)3,4 is a critical regulator of oral tolerance. RELMβ is abundant in the sera of both patients with FA and mouse models of FA.

    The phenomenon is more commonly known as “revenge bedtime procrastination.” It refers to a coping mechanism where those without much control over their daytime lives put off sleep for nighttime freedom. If you relate, know that you’re not alone. A European study reports that 53.1% of individuals procrastinate bedtime 2 or more days per week. At best, revenge bedtime procrastination yields unpleasant morning lethargy, and, at worst, one may be found dozing off on the job.
