BILLINGS — As we began the Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, a quiet, bright morning gave way to scattered showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening. This particular disturbance will weaken overnight, and we'll have fewer showers and clouds by Sunday morning. Lows will remain in the seasonable 30s and 40s. Although isolated showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast on Sunday, they will not be as numerous or widespread as they were on Saturday.

BILLINGS — The Friday leading into Memorial Day weekend was fairly quiet for Montana and Wyoming, but we had isolated showers and thunderstorms still pop up in the afternoon and evening. We can expect decreasing clouds and shower activity tonight through early Saturday, and lows will remain seasonably cool. A disturbance will move over the northern Rockies on Saturday, and it will be enough to spawn afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

BILLINGS — Most of us in Montana and Wyoming had a break from our active weather pattern on Wednesday, but isolated rain showers still popped up in the afternoon. We can expect decreasing clouds overnight and a little cooler start on Thursday, with lows for most of our region in the 30s and 40s. After quieter Thursday morning weather, we can expect increasing clouds throughout the day along with gusty wind in advance of a small disturbance moving over the Northern Rockies.

Most of Montana and Wyoming had a dry Saturday, but there will still isolated showers and thunderstorms in a few areas. A storm is moving our way from the Pacific, however, and that will quickly change our weather in the short term. We can expect increasing clouds overnight, but not much rain. Lows will be mainly in the 40s.
