CLOVIS, Calif (KSEE/KGPE) – It’s been nearly two weeks since 18-year-old Caleb Quick was shot and killed in a McDonald’s parking lot in Clovis. On Tuesday, police seized a white Tesla in connection with the shooting. Police also announced they doubled their reward for any tip leading to the suspect’s arrest. It’s the first update on this shooting investigation since releasing a video showing it was a targeted attack.

Many local leaders and members of the Hmong community came together for the 50th anniversary of Hmong American Day. “It’s really important to know that we see them as neighbors, friends and family,” Fresno State President Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval. The Hmong community marched side by side with Central Valley leaders into the student union for a cultural celebration.

CARUTHERS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Last month, the owner of Elkhorn Market died in a crash with an almond truck. The same business he owned was burglarized on April 23. Elkhorn Market was closed in March after 80-year-old business owner Harbans Singh Lehra died. “This is a real gut punch to this family,” Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Tony Botti said.
