East Rutherford, NJ East RutherfordMonster Energy AMA Supercross Championship “I’m clicking fifth,” explained Seth Hammaker when I asked his approach to the gnarly East Rutherford whoops. A week earlier on Race Day Live, Seth explained how he’d learned to grab fourth gear while hitting the starter whoop this season. With the long run before the whoops on this track, he was going to take it to an even higher level. Third in the corner, then fourth, then fifth.

Philadelphia, PA PhiladelphiaMonster Energy AMA Supercross Championship It hasn’t actually been a good season for RJ Hampshire. He was barely able to make it into round one after a major wrist injury, and at that race he got stuck on a Tuff Block and basically finished a lap behind. He’s been dealing with that injury, a rough one in a mud race, and more, and yet, somehow has fought, scratched and clawed his way into a share of the points lead in 250SX East.

First thing my kid said when I walked in the door this morning: “Rodbell did good.”

The Cooper Webb "way" of winning races, which are usually close, sure is entertaining to watch. So kudos to him for that. MC is the King but holeshot, crush 8 laps and cruise....this is MUCH different!
