NIST has tested a prototype portable quantum traceable pressure standard for the calibration of pressure gauges. The low-pressure limit of this device was extended by making some minor upgrades. The performance over the range of 0.01 Pa to 400000 Pa was evaluated by comparison to commercially available devices. Performance of the quantum device has exceeded that of traditional standards and the range can be extended further with the next generation that is currently under development.

Washington D.C. (KOSA) -Day two of the Permian Basin Honor Flight was filled with emotions, and sadness, but also filled with brotherhood. Veterans and their guardians cried, laughed but at the end there was finally closure. The sound of the bagpipes were a sign that a ceremony was set to begin. This time, it was at the Americans Disabled for Life Memorial. Dedicated to veterans that are physically wounded for life, but also for those that are wounded mentally.
