Successful syntheses of chlorophosphoramidate morpholino monomers containing tricyclic cytosine analogs phenoxazine, G-clamp, and G8AE-clamp were accomplished. These modified monomers were incorporated into 12-mer oligonucleotides using trityl-chemistry by an automated synthesizer.
