In efforts to promote modernizing health care laws, the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) sent a letter to the American Medical Association (AMA) to cease the campaign that disparages the contributions of other health care providers. The AMA’s ongoing #StopScopeCreep campaign against PAs and other health care providers, including nurse practitioners, “disregards their contributions and impedes progress in our nation’s health care system,” said the AAPA.
