    The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has said that between June 18 and June 24, more than 700 handcarts and over 1,000 cylinders were seized by BMC officials as part of its drive against illegal hawkers in Mumbai. The BMC said that between June 18 and June 24, approximately 3,000 items were seized from illegal hawkers. This included 713 handcarts, 1,037 domestic gas cylinders, and 1,246 other various types of items.
