Cloudy skies will linger through the weekend as lows drop into the mid 50s Saturday morning. A stubborn “cutoff low” will continue to spin over the region through Monday. This spinning low will keep skies cloudy and temperatures cool. Highs Saturday through Monday will only reach the low to mid 60s. Occasional showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day.

On Friday, a cold front will arrive and may trigger some severe storms in the afternoon and evening. Highs will climb into the upper 70s.
