After two 10-minute overtime periods of no scoring Siegel knocked in all of its chances.

JIM DAVISRockvale’s soccer team came out sluggish in the opening half at Oakland on Friday night but scored a pair of goals late in the second half in a period of three to four minutes to win 2-1.  The Rockets closed out district play 6-1-1 and go to 11-4-1 overall.

MICHAEL GIGLIORiverdale starting pitcher Liam Goodhart threw a complete game with 103 pitches and got help on offense from catcher Gunnar Waldrop’s three RBI as the Warriors stopped Blackman’s eight-game winning streak with a 10-2 district victory. Blackman is 19-2 and 3-1 in district play while Riverdale is 12-13 and 1-3 in the district.
