Light the Hoan will begin work to add lights to the east side of the iconic Milwaukee bridge this month, so that both sides of the span will be illuminated. The new lights won’t only be visible to boaters and ships out on Lake Michigan, but also to folks along much of the lakefront, including from Veterans Park, Lakeshore State Park, Discovery World, the Summerfest grounds, South Shore Park and more.

MILWAUKEE — Sidney Moncrief was always more than a basketball player to me. Growing up in Milwaukee, I went to many Milwaukee Bucks games during Moncrief’s era from 1979-89). Through 10 seasons with the team, he averaged nearly 4 assists per game, shot more than 50% from the field, and scored at a clip of almost 17 points per game.

The answer to the question, "What's America's best city to hold your next convention in?" may not be as easy to answer as it was a few weeks ago. It's usually Las Vegas. Right? Easy. Milwaukee's now entered the game. Let's examine:☑️cost-effective☑️centrally located☑️perfect weather - even in the winter - not too hot not too cold☑️easy set up with several major venues☑️easy travel - even if you have to stay 30 miles away, it's pretty darn easy to get into the Baird Center in the heart of Downtown.
