John Marzolf likes to play a little game with visitors when they stop by his shop, Artem Art Services. For Colorado Ballet Society’s upcoming production, co-director and choreographer Charles Maple wanted to mix things up a little. “So many different versions have been done. Everyone’s familiar with the Disney version,” Maple said.

Rupert Guy, a former space scientist and science teacher turned spiritual adviser and contact specialist is on a six-week, 16-state tour, which includes a stop in Monument. He’ll be at the Red Rocks Road trailhead parking lot April 23 to host an evening of meditation, which he says often attracts UFOs, aliens and perhaps other phenomena, like sasquatch, to make contact with him and the group of attendees.
