DENVER — In less than two weeks, a major construction site in Denver will turn into a racecourse. The Colfax Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, weaving through parts of Denver and out to Lakewood and back, along the historic and iconic Colfax Avenue. Race organizers said the race route remains the same, even through a roughly two-mile stretch of the East Colfax Avenue Bus Rapid Transit Project, currently under construction. And some of the BRT project crew will join runners on race day.
