A visit to Golden Gate Park’s Conservatory of Flowers, Japanese Tea Garden or San Francisco Botanical Garden makes for an ideal itinerary any Mother’s Day weekend, and on May 10 the Gardens of Golden Gate Park aptly held its annual Gala for the Gardens, co-chaired by Nicola Miner and Claire Myers. Nearly $610,000 was raised to benefit the gardens that welcome visitors year-round to their lush and peaceful environs, as well as their education programs and conservation efforts.
