This is the first of a two part series about an international fugitive, and how one of his victims and an abc journalist helped track him down after he spent almost a decade on the run. This story starts on WA's Kimberley coast, where the biggest airport is in the tourist town of BroomeFor many years, there was this double decker bus permanently parked in a patch of bush facing right onto the runway. And a man lived there, who was a pilot.
