Recent statistics reported in Forbes found that 2024 saw more Americans living on the streets and in their cars than in 2023, according to the 2024 Annual Homelessness Assessment Report. Almost 772,000 homeless Americans represented an increase of 18%, impacting families with children and those aged 55 and older most.
