    Don’t expect a warmer week to clear Hamilton’s snow packs. With temperatures going up — and chances of rain through the week — some residents may have been hoping for a big thaw to clear sidewalks, parking spots and right-hand lanes. “Some melting is possible,” Environment Canada meteorologist Shem Willie said. Environment Canada is forecasting a Wednesday winter blast to pile on top of Saturday’s snowfall. The Monday afternoon weather advisory gives advanced warning for snowfall totals possibly exceeding 15 centimetres and potential for freezing rain Wednesday night and into Thursday.
