CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Grayson and Laura Hodges are from Cincinnati and they carry their fandom for it and its teams around with them everywhere. Sometimes it’s in a car seat, a stroller or their arms, but they carry it. That happens when two Cincinnati Bengals fans name their newborn son Burrow. Burrow turned 1-year-old on Sunday. On Monday, he got the gift of a lifetime from the team and his namesake, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. One that made Grayson and Laura Hodges’ baby boy go viral.

But it was one choice he made to befriend a co-worker that changed the course of his senior football season and his life. “When I met the guy working, I asked him how he was doing, I got his number,” Dooley explained. “I found out he struggled with suicidal thoughts and depression.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Cincinnati Bengals drafted offensive tackle Amarius Mims out of Georgia with the No. 18 pick in the NFL draft Thursday night. At 6-foot-8 and 340 pounds, Mims is a “rare-sized athlete” the team was thrilled to get when it was the Bengals’ turn to choose, said Head Coach Zac Taylor. “We were really excited he was there at 18. He’s a great fit,” Taylor said.
