The Boston cybersecurity firm has added three members to its board as part of its settlement with Jana Partners, which reportedly urged a sale of the company last year. Rapid7 has agreed to add one of the partners from activist investor Jana Partners, and two others, to its board. As part of the settlement with the hedge fund, Rapid7 will expand its board from eight to 11 directors. Jana Partners had reportedly been pushing Rapid7 (Nasdaq: RPD) toward a sale last year.
